"Cibus Russia 2004", the first Italian gastronomic salon will take place on July 14-17, 2004 in "Atrium" of Gostiny Dvor, Moscow.
The organizers of "Cibus Russia" are: External Trade Institute of Italy, Italian Federation of Food Industry and "La Fiere di Parma" Exhibition Administration. In Italy this fair is usually held in the beginning of May in Parma city. 90 000 visitors-specialists attended it every year. 2400 exhibitors from 21 countries perform their production using 10 pavilions on the area of 120 000 sq.m. Every region, city and even small village in Italy is proud of its traditional products and special family recipes, which they hand down from generation to generation. Wealth of Italian gastronomic traditions is expressed in a wide variety of products: 500 sorts of cheese, 1000 sorts of sausage and smoked foods, 300 kinds of pasta, 40 sorts of rice, hundreds grades of wine, thousands sorts of extravergine olive oil and several hundreds thousands receipts of different dishes. Due to the interest to Italian cuisine in Russia, one the most important events of "Cibus Russia 2004" are going to be the seminars, presented by famous masters from Parma International School of "Alma" Italian cuisine. The seminars are free of charge, you just need to fill out the application.
